Goals and Objectives
Zonta Club of Northern Valley, NJ reaffirms its commitment
to its mission to improve the status of women and to provide
service at the global and local level. During this biennium,
the officers and directors of the Zonta Club of Teaneck-Bergenfield
will emphasize four specific goals in conjunction with
of Zonta International.

communication with our legislators to stop gender inequality,
change attitudes that foster inequality, and urge legislation
to prohibit inequality.

County healingSpace, The Center for Care and Hope (formerly Shelter Our Sisters), The Women's
Rights Information Center and The York Street Project. This coincides with Zonta International's
efforts to combine service and advocacy through fundraisers
to prevent violent crimes including sexual abuse, rape and

the 2016-2018 Zonta International service projects including:
Zonta/Unifem, Zonta Star Network and Afghanistan.

by incorporating the third goal of Zonta International -
"Recruit, Retain, and Rejuvenate."

time and financial aid in the past.
